Reduce POD SHatter loss

Mesh is a unique polymer that seals the seam. It is a simple, cost-effective solution that significantly reduces yield loss and increases profit. It tacks and protects the pod seam, reducing its natural tendency to split while still allowing the pod to expand, contract and mature normally.

Yield losses occur in-field through changes in weather, variable pod maturity and physical damage at harvest, which all result in shattered pods.

Mesh is recommended across Canola, Pulses, and Legumes.

How it works

From tank to seam

Step 01 · Tank
Mixes clean, sprays clean.

Add Mesh to the tank last and keep agitating.

Step 02 · Spray
Even coverage of the pods.

Applied at 1-1.5 L/ha in 100–250 L of water as a medium-quality spray, coating the pod surface.
*Never lower than 10% dilution

Step 03 · Seal
Tacks the pod seam.

The polymer bonds across the seam, reducing the pod's natural tendency to split under pressure.

Step 04 · Mature
Lets the pod finish.

Flexible enough to let pods expand, contract and ripen normally, with no effect on desiccation, maturity or seed quality.

Getting the timing right

The earlier window wins

Canola

BBCH 80–89

The optimum window is BBCH 80–82. Pods are green and bendy, roughly 8 weeks before harvest. Mesh can be applied any time from full-sized pods up to before they split (BBCH 89), standalone or co-applied with an approved glyphosate or diquat desiccant.
