Features
N-LEAF is a foliar biofertilizer that incorporates three bacterial strains to fix atmospheric nitrogen, enhancing plant growth. By converting atmospheric nitrogen into forms plants can absorb, it promotes growth hormone production and stimulates root activity, offering growers an innovative solution for natural nitrogen supplementation and improved plant health.
Increased Natural Nitrogen Supply
Atmospheric Nitrogen is converted by the three phyllosphere bacterial strains (2 strains of Methlyobacterium,1 of Arthrobacter) into ammonium and nitrates, readily available to the plant.
The symbiotic interaction between the crop and N-Leaf bacteria creates a nitrogen supply additional and independent of root absorption. This results in an equivalent of 20 to 25 units of Nitrogen provided to the plants.
Enhanced Plant Growth
N-LEAF bacteria produce phytohormones such as auxin and cytokinins. These growth hormones will promote plant growth by expanding the leaf surface, contributing to increased photosynthetic activity. This activates the plants metabolism, which boosts root activity and development.
Beneficial Bacteria Leaf Occupation
With the high concentration of bacteria in N-LEAF (109 CFU/mL), the bacteria occupy the physical leaf space, increasing competition between organisms for resources and space and limiting other opportunistic bacteria or pathogens from establishing.
